Initial report of decreased SARS-CoV-2 viral load after inoculation with the BNT162b2 vaccine

چکیده
Beyond their substantial protection of individual vaccinees, coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) vaccines might reduce viral load in breakthrough infection and thereby further suppress onward transmission. In this analysis a real-world dataset positive severe acute respiratory syndrome 2 (SARS-CoV-2) test results after inoculation with the BNT162b2 messenger RNA vaccine, we found that was substantially reduced for infections occurring 12–37 d first dose vaccine. These loads hint at potentially lower infectiousness, contributing to vaccine effect on virus spread. Breakthrough SARS-CoV-2 12 or more days mRNA were associated than those unvaccinated individuals, suggesting infectiousness.

Initial viral load and the outcomes of SARS.
BACKGROUND Severe acute respiratory syndrome (SARS) is caused by a novel coronavirus. It may progress to respiratory failure, and a significant proportion of patients die. Preliminary data suggest that a high viral load of the SARS coronavirus is associated with adverse outcomes in the intensive care unit, but the relation of viral load to survival is unclear. METHODS We prospectively studied...
متن کاملSuccessful Treatment of Monoclonal Gammopathy of Renal Significance With Bortezomib in the Setting of Post- Viral SARs-CoV-2 Infection: Case Report
Introduction: Monoclonal Gammopathy of Renal Significance (MGRS) is an immunoglobulin proliferative disorder that leads to the destruction of the renal glomerular basement membrane and progression to end-stage renal disease. The pathogenesis of MGRS is similar to that of multiple myeloma and chronic lymphocytic lymphoma but lacks criteria for either disease. This inability to characterize the d...
متن کاملDesign of a Multi-epitope Peptide Vaccine against SARS-CoV-2 based on Immunoinformatics Data
Background and purpose: In 2019, the world has witnessed the emergence of a virus that caused acute respiratory distress syndrome in human with high mortality rates (approximately 3.7%). So far, no effective treatment has been proven against COVID-19. This study aimed at designing a multi-epitope vaccine combining several T-cell and B-cell epitopes of the SARS-CoV-2. Materials and methods: Bas...
متن کاملSARS-CoV-2 infection: its psychiatric manifestations
Background: The clinical presentation of SARS-CoV-2 infection was initially dominated by respiratory symptoms. However the clinical spectrum is wide and neuropsychiatric syndromes are also a source of medical concern. Our aims are to present an atypical clinical presentation of SARS-CoV-2 infection characterized by auditory hallucinations and unusual behavior and to emphasize the diversity of ...
متن کاملCoagulopathies after vaccination against SARS-CoV-2: The sole solution might lead to another problem
The common reported adverse impacts of COVID-19 vaccination include the injection site’s local reaction followed by various non-specific flu-like symptoms. Nevertheless, uncommon cases of vaccine-induced immune thrombotic thrombocytopenia (VITT) and cerebral venous sinus thrombosis (CVST) following viral vector vaccines (ChAdOx1 nCoV-19 vaccine, Ad26.COV2 vaccine) have been reported. This liter...
